How Donna works.
01
Upload the refusal letter

03
Select your track

Choose IRCC Resubmission, Federal Court, or both. Donna generates the complete document set for your chosen path.

04

Common questions.
How does Donna handle cases where the officer's reasoning is incomplete or implicit? +
Donna identifies and documents reasoning gaps — including implicit findings, unsupported conclusions, and procedural fairness failures — and maps them against the Vavilov standard. Where the officer's reasoning is absent or inadequate, the analysis flags this explicitly in the Refusal Analysis Report and carries it through to the Rebuttal Letter and, where applicable, the Memorandum of Argument.
Do the documents require editing before filing? +
Yes — all documents contain bracketed fields for client-specific facts, exhibit references, and counsel details. The analytical content, legal framework, and case law citations are pre-populated. Your professional review and sign-off are required before any document is filed.
What refusal types are currently supported? +
Visitor Visa (TRV) under IRPR s.179(b), Study Permit, and Work Permit refusals. PR and other IRCC decision types are on the roadmap.
How are case law citations verified? +
All citations are drawn from published court and tribunal decisions and verified against official judicial records. The platform is updated as new relevant Federal Court decisions are published. Each Case Law Citation Reference document includes verification dates for all cited decisions.
How is client data handled? +
All client data is handled in accordance with PIPEDA. Data is used solely to generate the requested documents and is not retained beyond document delivery. Donna does not access IRCC systems or government databases.
Can I cancel or change plans at any time? +
Yes. All plans are month-to-month. Cancel or upgrade at any time with no lock-in period. Unused cases within a billing period do not roll over to the following month.
